Cash4Clubs Sports Grant Winners

Wrekin College Triathlon Club is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a £500 Cash 4 Clubs Grant after a detailed examination of all aspects of our clubs operation and practices.

What is Cash 4 Clubs?

Cash 4 Clubs is a sports funding scheme which gives clubs a unique chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and generally invest in the sustainability of their club. Since 2008 over £100,000 has been given out in grants to 139 community sports clubs across the UK. It's a flexible, no-fuss way to get some help for your club or team.

Have you ever wondered what you look like when you swim? Have you been told time and time again what you are doing wrong in the water but just can't get your head around how to correct it?

Melanie is an experienced BTF Triathlon Coach, ASA Swimming Teacher.

As well as still competing herself she also helps others achieve their goals by applying her knowledge and experience in a simple, yet effective way.  Swimming Video Analysis is undertaken in our 25m pool which offers a perfect opportunity for you to SEE exactly where your faults lie in your stroke.

Awarded Club Mark Approval

Wrekin College Triathlon Club are honoured to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious Clubmark award by Sports England after a very rigorous and detailed examination of all aspects of our clubs operation and practices.

Clubmark criteria

Clubmark is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent and accepted minimum operating standards. It is now universally recognised by clubs wishing to show good practice and demonstrate commitment in developing young people within their club. It is promoted and carefully branded, by Sport England.
